Farmer's Market

We frequent a few local Farmer's Markets in our area.  The fresh produce is always a good selection of in season veggies.  But, it is also a neat place to pick up other needed items.  Next time you are in these areas, stop by their local Farmer's Markets.  It is not just fresh produce, but homemade items, arts & crafts and other unique items that are precious to the locals.

Gretna Farmer's Market
We had the pleasure of purchasing some local orange blossom honey.  While they offered a variety of honey flavors, they also offered a variety of sizes to purchase as well.  We purchased 31lbs at a very, very reasonable price.  The Gretna Market also had fresh veggies, herbs and spice plants for sale, as well as home made wines.  Many locals with their homemade items and Arts & Crafts as well.
And let us not forget the music to soothe your mood while walking around.  A very nice atmosphere!

New Orleans French Market
What can I say, "A Little Bit of Everything and Then Some!"
It is a must visit when visiting New Orleans by the Jackson Square.  The New Orleans French Market has a uniqueness all its own, and the atmosphere.....well, it's Naturally New Orleans Baby!  Let the Good Times Roll!

GEORGIA Farmers Markets

To many to list, but many to visit ~  One of our favorites is the Cobb International Farmer's Market..... it is like shopping in another country.  A variety of fresh fruits, veggies, spices, seafood, meats, poultry and other interesting items...... It is a must visit, especially if you like exotic foods..... Located in Smyrna - Sometimes it can be hit or miss, but we still enjoy going.  It's like any market if you go at the right time when everything is fresh, you will be happy you did.

Granules & Vinegar?

So, I was at work.......and engaged in a deep conversation with one of my customers.  Some how, we got on the topic of Bee Pollen and Apple Cider Vinegar.   I know the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar, my favorite brand being BRAGGS ~ only because is contains the mother, which leaves all of the health property benefits.  Like anything, when you process it, you loose the natural healing properties/health benefits. But, I never read or heard about the benefits of Bee Pollen granules.  I know about royal bee jelly though.

Anyway, because I am on a computer all day long typing, my fingers and wrist were starting to ache.  They had replaced my keyboard at work with the ergonomic one....and, it has helped with my wrist and fingers.  Ok, let's get back on track here......my customer explained to me how he suffers with rheumatoid arthritis.  He read about taking bee pollen and apple cider vinegar as a morning cocktail, and ever since he started it, he has had no further complications.  Below is the ingredients for the morning cocktail....it also gives you an energy boost:

  • 8oz purified water
1 heaping teaspoon Bee pollen granules
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother
    1/2 teaspoon of Saigon Cinnamon

Mix the ingredients with a spoon, stirring for 30-45 seconds.  Then gulp it down quickly, usually in 2 or 3 gulps. It tastes decent, better than you would think.
Bee pollen helps so many people because it contains over a dozen vitamins, 28 minerals, 11 enzymes and co-enzymes, and 14 fatty acids.
It's impossible to make numbers like that up. Science has validated these facts for us.
When you combine this most nutrient dense food (possibly on the planet) with the massive nutrient deficiencies facing the Western world, you tend to get the amazing results

It is a fact that our food has lost greater than 50% of its vitamin and mineral content since 1950. And that's fresh, unprocessed food. As soon as you heat, cook, fry, microwave, process or irradiate a food, the percentage goes down further. So to say that we are malnourished would be an understatement. Those that use bee pollen and experience tremendous results are likely experiencing the correction of many nutrient deficiencies.

So do yourself a favor and try a tablespoon a day for a month.
